The FW.56 is a German tier III heavy fighter warplane.

Twin-engine heavy fighter. One of the first Zerstörer concepts developed for the Luftwaffe. Although it is recognized as a heavy fighter, its manuverability is very low and its bomb capacity is very high, so it acts more like a bomber than a heavy fighter

Predecessor: AGO Ao 192 Kurier

Sucessor: Messerschmitt Bf 110B
